On April 8, 2025, Congressman Michael Guest announced that he was co-chairing a hearing regarding mass parole policies under the Biden-Harris Administration. Guest emphasized his intent to implement conservative policy changes with the aim of preventing future border management failures. "Today, I am co-chairing a hearing to highlight the mass parole policies of the Biden-Harris Administration. I am working to ensure that under Republican leadership, we put conservative policies in place so that the failures at the border will never happen again," he stated.
The following day, on April 9, 2025, Guest shared that he received the 100% Award from the Family Research Council (FRC) for his voting record over the past year. He expressed gratitude towards FRC President Tony Perkins for his dedication to faith and the nation. Michael Guest is a Congressman representing Mississippi’s 3rd district, having succeeded Gregg Harper in 2019. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey, he now resides in Brandon, Mississippi. Guest is an alumnus of Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi, where he earned his BS and JD, respectively.
