The Copiah County Sheriff's Office is providing a free basic firearms safety class for the public. The purpose of the class is to provide individuals who have little to no experience with firearms with the knowledge that will allow them to safely and properly handle a firearm. The goal of the class is to instruct individuals on safety in order to prevent a firearms accident which could result in serious injury or death. DO NOT BRING FIREARMS TO THIS EVENT!
