On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former North Pike Senior High School standout Peyton Badon’s current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils.
The game took place at Weevils Field at Union Bank Park. This was their first matchup against the Boll Weevils this season.
The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field against Union Bulldogs.
