Congressman Michael Guest, representing Mississippi's 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, has shared a series of tweets reflecting on significant historical events and his recent engagements. Guest, who succeeded Gregg Harper, was born in Woodbury, New Jersey, and currently resides in Brandon. He holds degrees from Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi.

On January 28, 2025, Congressman Guest marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day by acknowledging the atrocities committed during World War II. He stated: "Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It is estimated that more than 1 million lives were taken at Auschwitz and approximately 6 million Jewish lives were taken across Europe by the Nazi regime. Today, we remember, and we will never forget."

On January 29, 2025, Guest highlighted his meeting with representatives from Colonial Pipeline. He expressed appreciation for their efforts: "I had the opportunity to meet with the Colonial Pipeline team - the largest pipeline in the United States for delivering refined petroleum products. I appreciate their commitment to safely delivering reliably domestically produced energy and their investment in Mississippi."
