Michael Guest discusses Mississippi's role in overturning Roe v. Wade

Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi's 3rd District in the U.S. Congress, has expressed his views on recent political and historical topics through a series of tweets dated January 24, 2025. Guest has been serving since 2019, following Gregg Harper, and has a background in law with degrees from Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi.

In one of his tweets posted on January 24, 2025, Guest stated: "I am proud to be a pro-life conservative who represents the great state of Mississippi in the United States Congress, and I am proud that Mississippi led the way in overturning Roe v. Wade."

On the same day, he also mentioned his role on a key congressional committee: "I am honored to serve on the House Appropriations Committee, and I look forward to getting to work to incorporate President Trump’s America First agenda."

Later that day, Congressman Guest shared an interesting piece of historical information: "Fun Fact Friday: Did you know that the first March for Life was held in January of 1974?"
