Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is accepting employment applications for Corrections Officers and Patrol Deputies. Minimum requirements for corrections officers include being at least 18 years of age. Minimum requirements for patrol deputies include being at least 21 years of age. Applicants must possess a valid drivers license, and a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must be able to pass a background check with no previous felony convictions.
