On last night, graduates from surrounding areas had a graduation party here in Port Gibson! The Sheriff Department with the assistance of the Police Department, set up checkpoints to help ensure everyone’s safety was priority. Below you see several illegal weapons that were in the possession of minors. Multiple juveniles were detained for this purpose. Our goal is to put “FUN” back in our community, and while doing so SAFETY COMES FIRST. It’s safe to say the graduates enjoyed.
