New Railroad Renovations

26

What a great era to be an Adams County Resident! Adams County Sheriff's Office was overjoyed to join The City of Natchez, MS and Natchez, Inc. to celebrate the new railroad renovations on March 23, 2022.

After prayer and a pledge by Sheriff Patten, attendees were greeted by our Board of Supervisors, Wes Middleton. After Dan Gibson Mayor of Natchez spoke to insure that both the city and county are working daily to improve life in Adams County.

The rail road meets industry standards from Lincoln to Adams County. Thanks to the TIGER Grant, the railroad is now a gold standard for all short line rail roads.

We are excited about the opportunities that the railroad renovations will present and look forward to protecting and serving the current and future residents of Adams County as we expand.
