On Saturday, Feb. 15, former North Pike Senior High School standout Peyton Badon’s current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lee Flames.
The game took place at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field. This was their third matchup against the Flames this season.
The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. at Weevils Field at Union Bank Park against Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils.
