Former Brookhaven Academy star Caston Thompson and his teammates on the Nicholls State Colonels suffered a 6-2 loss in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup with the Tulane Green Wave on Tuesday, March 31, at 6:30 p.m.
The matchup was held at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium and marked the teams’ second meeting this season. The Colonels secured a 6-5 victory over Tulane during their previous contest on Tuesday, March 3.
Thompson tallied one hit in four plate appearances and struck out once.
Nicholls State is set to visit Husky Field for their next game Thursday, April 2, against the Houston Christian Huskies.
