Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd District in the U.S. Congress, has expressed his views on recent political and historical topics through a series of tweets dated January 24, 2025. Guest has been serving since 2019, following Gregg Harper, and has a background in law with degrees from Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi.

In one of his tweets posted on January 24, 2025, Guest stated: “I am proud to be a pro-life conservative who represents the great state of Mississippi in the United States Congress, and I am proud that Mississippi led the way in overturning Roe v. Wade.”

On the same day, he also mentioned his role on a key congressional committee: “I am honored to serve on the House Appropriations Committee, and I look forward to getting to work to incorporate President Trump’s America First agenda.”

Later that day, Congressman Guest shared an interesting piece of historical information: “Fun Fact Friday: Did you know that the first March for Life was held in January of 1974?”
