Tuition fees at Alcorn State University rose by 4.6% for the 2022-23 school year, based on the most recent information available, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Students enrolled at the four-year public university paid $8,549 this year, an increase of $373 from the $8,176 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Approximately 70% of the undergraduate student body are residents of Mississippi, while about 30% come from other states.

Data indicates that all full-time undergraduates who began studies at Alcorn State University in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. A total of 457 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $4.9 million, and 389 students obtained student loans exceeding $2.5 million.
