Non-resident students faced tuition fees 55.6% higher than those for in-state students, amounting to $5,600 for the 2022-23 year. This represents a 4.1% rise from the $5,380 charged in the previous academic year.
Approximately 95% of the undergraduate student body at the college are Mississippi residents, while about 5% come from other states.
Data indicates that 92% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled in the 2022-23 year received some form of student financial aid. Specifically, 597 students were awarded grants or scholarships totaling $4.1 million, and 67 students obtained student loans exceeding $300,390.
Across all undergraduates, 1,973 students benefited from grants or scholarships amounting to $11.4 million. Additionally, 219 students secured federal student loans totaling $1.1 million.
