A traffic checkpoint in Copiah County over the Labor Day weekend resulted in two arrests for drug charges. Felony amounts of drugs, as well as firearms, cash and other paraphernalia were confiscated during the stops. Sheriff Swilley says there will be more checkpoints planned in an effort to curtail illegal activity in our area.
