Congressman Michael Guest, representing Mississippi’s 3rd District since 2019, has made recent statements on social media regarding border policy and educational issues. In a series of tweets dated March 19, 2025, he shared his views on these matters.

In one tweet, Guest expressed gratitude towards former President Donald Trump for his immigration policies. He stated that “Since President Trump has taken office, border encounters have dropped over 90%. Thank you, President Trump, for fulfilling your promise to the American people. Promises made. Promises kept. “

Another tweet from the same day highlighted his involvement in legal actions related to education policy. Guest noted that “I was honored to sign onto a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court supporting parents who want to opt-out their children from woke gender ideology in schools.”

Further emphasizing parental rights in education, Guest asserted in another post that “Parents have a right to know what their children are being taught, and to prevent them being exposed to far-left indoctrination.”
