Alcorn-Arkansas-Pine Bluff softball series postponed due to weather

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) softball series between Alcorn State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff has been postponed due to persistent bad weather in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas area. The decision was made jointly by coaches and administrators from both schools.

The series was stopped during the top of the seventh inning in game two, with Alcorn leading 5-3. Arkansas-Pine Bluff won the first game of the doubleheader on Friday, March 6.

A new date for resuming the series will be announced later. Updates will be posted on Alcorn State’s official athletics website and social media channels.
